Kelvin Ip- Physiotherapy at University of Melbourne
Kelvin served as the president of HKSN in 2013–2014. He is one of the most sympathetic and understanding people around. Here in this interview, he offers invaluable advice in regards to how one should spend one’s undergraduate life.
Tell us about what you studied at McGill.
I majored in Physiology, Bachelor of Science.
What have you been currently working on after graduation?
I am currently in Physiotherapy at the University of Melbourne.
What are pros and cons about your program (physiology at McGill)?
Pros: big program (meet lots of people), very well rounded courses (prepares you for any future streams), many opportunities to choose your electives
Cons: a tough program, competitive
What were some valuable involvements at school that taught about yourself and oriented your goals?
HKSN — allowed to meet a lot of people that has helped me down the road. HKSN also gave me the opportunity to improve my soft skills

Go to class!
Even though lectures are recorded, it takes longer to listen and often you pile up a lot of lectures to have to listen to

What advice would you give to current undergraduate students at McGill?
Work hard, play hard, enjoy these four years because they will go by very fast and they will be the best four years of your life.
The people you meet and friends you make will stay forever.
